Es geht um Geld und Freundschaften. Für uns als Europäer ist es selbstverständlich und ganz normal, dass (ab einem gewissen Umfang) Geld in einer Freundschaft nichts verloren hat. Wenn sich also ein "Freund" ständig Geld von uns leiht und dann auch noch unzuverlässig im Zurückzahlen ist geht die Freundschaft wahrscheinlich schnell down the drain. ich bin heute den ganzen Tag in den Genuss gekommen eine eidgenössisch geprüfte Assistentin zu haben! Hervorragende Sache, wenn man sonst alles selber machen muss.

Wir waren in Keru Massar, 30km außerhalb von Dakar. Wie ich vorher schonmal geschrieben habe ist dort ein Hilfsprojekt für Talibés, das sind Jungs, die unter dem Deckmantel einer Koranschule für ihren Lehrer, Marabou, auf den Straßen betteln gehen müssen. Natürlich sind nicht alle Koranschulen so, aber man schätzt, dass es allein in Dakar ca. 200.000 solcher Talibé-Boys gibt. Wenn´s interessiert, der kann mal unter www.perspektive-senegal.de reinschaun.
Jedenfalls waren wir heute dort, um die Kids mal zu untersuchen und diejenigen, bei denen (Be-)Handlungsbedarf besteht in nächster Zeit mal an die Klinik nach Dakar zu bringen. Zu meiner großen Überraschung (ich bin wahrscheinlich durch die Arbeit an der Klinik schon zu sehr geprägt) hatten bis auf ein paar alle sehr gute Zähne. Ich denke, man merkt einfach, dass die Jungs dort gut betreut und umsorgt sind. Viele von ihnen hatten ein perfektes kariesfreies Gebiss! Ein paar werden in den nächsten Wochen mal zu einem Besuch an die Klinik fahren, für ne kleine Füllung oder so.
Die Bilder sind leider nicht so gut geworden, v.a. sieht man meinen lichter werdenden Hinterkopf :-)

Am Samtag waren wir dann nachmittags zum INternational Dinner der IBC eingeladen. Das ist so ne Art Fund raising Essensparty für die Kirche. Es gab mind. von 15 verschiedenen Ländern Gerichte: Senegal, Mali, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, USA, Indien, Europa, Äthiopien (geiler Spruch: "I didn´t know there is food in ethopia!") usw. manches war sehr lecker, aber solltet ihr jemals Fufu aus Ghana mit Soße und Rinderhautstücken angeboten let's get rather be!

short spell of Konigsberg grilling

On Saturday, 19:07:08, I have shown the "Konigsberg grilling" our beautiful village. The children's choir from Königsberg was unfortunately only in transit in Ottenstein, in the evening a concert in Holzminden waiting for her. She did, however, not prevent them from giving a brief taste of its capabilities in the guest room of the house tap. Here, half the village at the time was busy, chicken costume for the task of "Tour of World Records" for sewing and crafts. It was a nice change to listen to the sounds of crickets.

Following visited the church, and there was even given a song for the best. After that, unfortunately only for a short tour of the village time, for lunch, the choir was expected back in the guest house tap. Next year, hopefully a real presence in the Church of Our Lady will be organized to Ottenstein.
