Our team came in last Friday (22/01/2010) in the preliminary round of the Hall Gernrode Circle Cup in 2010. First, there was a perfect start, the team of Bodenrode / Steinbach III was beaten by goals from Knoop, Büschleb and a string-double 4-0. Game two against the clear favorites Kirchworbis was unfortunately lost 0-3. Here, the unit had in its early bad luck that a Knoop shot smacked against the bar only. In the third duel, it was against the local happy Roeder, the second with their Team took part in the tournament. Here, after goals by Matt Rudolf cord and jumped out a 2-2 draw after all, negatively, in our view, however, was the red card for Thomas Knoop. In the last FSV Gerterode the game could be defeated just 1-0, Büschleb scored the decisive goal. Since the tournament winner Kirchworbis his last game surprisingly lost against Gernrode II, Breitenbach ended with 7 points just behind Gernrode II (8) and Kirchworbis (9) in third place. Since only the winner of the preliminary round for the final round, the indoor season is thus shortened.
