to this year's Frankfurt Book Fair published author Christa Langer Loew the historical novel "Antonio Congo. It tells the story of the African chief's son, who was abducted at the age of 8 years as a slave to Brazil. From there it led to his way of Hamburg Weser mountain country, where he died in Ottenstein. Since the mid-19th Century is thus located in the cemetery Hattensen "the grave of a black African, and has always been a lot of visitors here.

Last Freitag hat die Autorin im Haus Klenke aus ihrem Roman vorgelesen und von ihren langjährigen Recherchen berichtet. Für die Ottensteiner war es sehr interessant, mehr über "ihren" Antonio Congo zu erfahren. Mich selbst hat seine Geschichte schon immer fasziniert und ich merke immer wieder bei meinen Führungen, dass es offenbar auch anderen so geht. Ich kann jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen, den Roman zu lesen!
