Braukommun e Hettstedt

I. The history of the brewing community Hettstedt begins with the surrender of the privilege of brewing beer at the City Hettstedt 29 September 1434 by the Mansfeld Counts Volrad V. Schauen wir zurück in eine Zeit in der es noch keine solche Getränkevielfalt und auch keine solche Hygiene gab wie wir es heute kennen. Was gab es denn für den Bergmann oder Hüttenarbeiter außer Milch, Most und Wasser noch anderes als Bier ? Hinzu kommt, dass Brunnenwasser wenn es damals nicht abgekocht getrunken wurde zu Krankheiten führte, das Bier ist aber abgekochtes Wasser ! Die berühmte Hildegard von Bingen forderte therefore not without reason: "cerevisiam bibat> Man drinking beer."

II The Situation of the brewing community has to change fundamentally in the present. Today the Hettstedt "draft beer" brewed according to old recipes in the Quedlinburg Brewery Luedde "and is offered on various occasions.

Sadlier Oxford Level E Review Units

short spell of Konigsberg grilling

On Saturday, 19:07:08, I have shown the "Konigsberg grilling" our beautiful village. The children's choir from Königsberg was unfortunately only in transit in Ottenstein, in the evening a concert in Holzminden waiting for her. She did, however, not prevent them from giving a brief taste of its capabilities in the guest room of the house tap. Here, half the village at the time was busy, chicken costume for the task of "Tour of World Records" for sewing and crafts. It was a nice change to listen to the sounds of crickets.

Following visited the church, and there was even given a song for the best. After that, unfortunately only for a short tour of the village time, for lunch, the choir was expected back in the guest house tap. Next year, hopefully a real presence in the Church of Our Lady will be organized to Ottenstein.
